Border Guard Bangladesh will recruit a number of people for the 88th batch of the institution. Both man and woman can apply for this post according to the BDR job circular of this year.

BGB Job Circular Needed Qualification
Educational Requirements:
Candidates should have at least GPA 3 in SSC and GPA 2.5 in HSC. People live in ‘Chitmohol’ can apply having just SSC certification but HSC degree holder will get preference.
Age Limit: Age limit is 18 to 23 by October 1, 2023.
Physical Qualification: Male candidate should have minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches where as 5 feet 2 inches is mandatory for female candidates. Weight of male candidates should be 49.895 kg and chest should be of 32 to 34 inches. On the other hand, female candidate should have weight of 47 kg and chest of 28 inches. Eye sight should be 6/6. How to Apply for BGB Job?
Candidates should send SMS in 16222 following the instructions given in the circular. Each candidate will get a PIN number and using it he/she should pay the application fee which is 160 taka. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the candidates and exam date and place will be sent via SMS. Candidates should bring passport size photos and important documents.

BGB Job Selection Process in Brief
Candidates have to give medical test at first. Shortlisted candidates will have to attain in written exam. In total 100 marks exam will be taken and subjects are Bangle, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. Candidates qualified in written test will face the final medical test. After all procedures selected candidates will be sent to Border Guard Training Center and School.
