Details on 40 the BCS
The 39 BCS was held only for selecting the doctors to fill up the vacant seats in government hospitals and related places. So, last BCS was a completely different one. But 40th BCS will be a general one like most other BCS rather than the 39th one. Bangladesh Public Service Commission has confirmed that 40th BCS will be a regular BCS program. The sources from PSC also confirmed that the drafts of 40 BCS have already been finalized and the dates along with the full circular will come out any time in this running September month. Earlier, the authority concerned took the Preliminary exam of 39th BCS on August 3 while the Written exam of 38th BCS took place on August 8. So, the field is all clear for the 40th BCS and the processes are already been started for it.
40th BCS Seat Status
Unlike the 39th BCS, the 40th one will see more seats available as there are a number of vacancies in many government organizations. According to the local administration ministry of Bangladesh, in total 2000 seats are currently available to be filled up with the BCS cadre in the 40th BCS. The list of vacancies have already been sent to PSC and the authority is all set to arrange the exam. Some seat status in a different category has been enlisted below:

In a total round, about 2 thousand posts will be available ahead of the 40th BCS. The ministry sources have also said that the number of vacancies can also be increased considering the demand and availability of qualified personnel in the 40th BCS.

Online Application: You will have to complete the online application to apply for the Preliminary Exam of 40 the BCS. Fee Payment: The 40th BCS fee payment process will have to be completed within the given period. The payment can be paid online using the USER ID given during the application. You will have to use the Teletalk SIM to complete the payment. SMS formats have been given below:
